In white please. With the green wheels. and JL tail tidy/lights.

I’d like one if it had a 20% bigger frame and forgiving to my idiot-rider self’s butt and tendency to ride above my skill level.
White does make it look very appealing though

it has TCS, ABS, wheelie control...all that fun shit. Way more forgiving then the 16.

It would be fun for me! a few days ago I caught TCS saving my ass from going down because I shifted mid corner.
I could forgoe wheelie control... I like those at low speed....
I need to take a hard look at myself and slap that stupidness out of me

I suspect that you’re far more experienced and would turn those off because of reasons....

eh. not really.
I am quick on a bike dont get me wrong. But I’m no valentino rossi. I do like my safety nets.
Now, if I went out SPECIFICALLY to raise a little hell, then yes. Those are getting turned off :D

These are seriously cool looking bikes. I love Yamaha’ s use of hi-viz yellow. I came so close to getting a grey/yellow FZ07 instead of the silver/blurple.

You get that bR6 and I’ll race you in my Neon Blue Gixxer wearing nothing but shorts and flip flops

What (used, probably Craigslist) bike would you recommend for someone looking to get into riding for the absolute least money possible

my advice is 500cc or less, and less then 10 years old.
hard to go wrong with that.

Honda CBR300 or CBR500/CB500F/CB500X are good picks. A little more up front but a LOT less down the line and you can get your money back. Same for the ninja 500. Avoid the 650cc sportbikes though. A lot of cash up front and the fairings and parts are more expensive. And the 600cc bikes are hardcore and will try to kill you (yes, the 600 is faster than the 650. It’s like how a mitsubishi evo’s 2.0L is significantly faster than the 2.4L inline 4 in a dodge dart. All about that tune, baby!)
Also, ninja 250/300 are classics as is the honda rebel for dirt cheap, rock solid starter bikes. Oh and 250cc or 400cc dual sports are good. Honda CRF250l, kawasaki KLX250, and yamaha TW200 are all good bets. Suzuki DRZ400 is good too but they’re a bit more money but also worth it.
